Choua Yang

As a young girl, I never saw any Hmong children's books in the library at school or the public library. It has always been a dream of mine to write Hmong children’s book because when I was young there were no stories in Hmong for me to read. Now that, my kids are all grown and I am in a career that I love (teaching). It is time that I focus on my life long dream of writing Hmong stories for little Hmong girls and boys. And for all children who want to read Hmong stories.

About the Book

Paj thiab Dawb

Gardening with someone you love is the best way to garden! In this story, you will find two Hmong sisters Paj (meaning flower) and Dawb (meaning white) enjoying gardening and gathering their crops during the harvest season.
