FuzionPress - In the Author's Corner

Amanda Lathrop, owner of Lead Sheep Productions, LLC, received her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from UW-River Falls in 2003. Film Studies had been her choice for a “fun minor”, but after an internship with the MN Film and Television Board she decided to pursue a production career. Since then she has worked on independent films, commercials, corporate video, and many television series for History Channel, Food Network, and Travel Channel.

After producing a family history video for her own family, she combined her genealogy hobby with her professional video business. Giving her the opportunity to use her skills to help people capture, share, and preserve their own stories.

She created the Lifestory Guided Journal as a do it yourself version of her interviews. Hoping to help as many people as possible capture their stories, life lessons, and values. They feature a hard leatherette cover, stitched binding, 70lb low acid paper, wide lines for writing, and extra pages for additional stories. They make a great gift for a birthday, anniversary, or retirement.

As Amanda said she chose a hard covered book for her journal.

Hard Cover Books

Works well for journals

A hardcover or hardback (also known as hardbound, and sometimes as case-bound) book is one bound with rigid protective covers (typically of Binder's board or heavy paperboard covered with  cloth, heavy paper, or occasionally leatherette).
